 McMillen Jacobs Associates' has an immediate need for an Associate Construction Claims Engineer. The position will be forty (40) hours per week to help our busy and growing office. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Review and evaluate construction documents and schedules and assist in the assembly of expert reports for the resolution of construction claims.


  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in management position(s) on major, multimillion dollar construction projects; this should include scheduling, estimating and cost control work.
  • Strong computer skills, with a working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, scheduling, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft and animate graphic presentations in PowerPoint is desired, but not required.
  • Experience with either vertical and /or horizontal construction projects will be considered.  
  • Experience with project controls and contract administration beneficial.
